There are many ways you can improve the quality of your service in any business: Below are few pointers with an example of an hotel/restaurant business. 1.) Pay attention to details: The smallest details about your customers can make the biggest difference in satisfaction. 2.) Service: Treat your customers with respect, and make them feel every little detail. 3.) There's an experience: Make your customers feel "good" with the experience that you offer them. 4.) Unique recipe: What is different about the products that you offer? 5.) Special Formula: What is your unique selling proposition? 6.) Environment: How do you make your customers feel? 7.) Team: Having a strong and reliable team is important. Customers know when a team is strong, as the promise is delivered a lot more effectively and efficiently. 8.) Quality of the product: Having a high quality product that is constantly improving and looking to set the bar higher & higher . It's all about the experience & the way you make your consumers perceive the product that you are offering. Perception is a big deal when it comes to charging 5-8X on the cost of a meal OR ANY product in general. The meal tastes a lot better based on the environment that you are creating for your customer. When you charge a lot for any product or service, this assumption is made that its going to be made that its going to be both high QUALITY & VALUE. A great example that is not related to the restaurant industry is these guru's selling these $4-5k courses. Are they worth the money? Hell NO! But they make this promise, and since its priced so high, people are automatically associating it with high value. Trust me, I have gone over several courses that cost anywhere between $1-5k, and all they contain is filler, and 5-10% value that is repeated frequently. They take what they learned from somebody else, and just reword it to their own style. Anyway, in conclusion, All these points may be applied to any business, however the above steak example is somewhat PERFECT. Specific example of Hotel/Restaurant: 1. Pay attention to detail (Anniversary, Birthdays, what customer ordered etc.) 2. Make people feel special (you can start by asking - How are you sir?) 3. Create good experience(music, ambience) 4. Sell your story (talk about the food item) 5. Special recipe that bring people back. 6. Great team( Try your best to get order right first time, go the extra mile) 7. Offer good quality products. 1) Find Your Voice: We need Leaders to step up to the open microphone.
2) Get Over Yourself: The only person who really cares about the sound of your voice or how you look is yourself, and it's what's holding you back. 3) Dare to Be Vulnerable: We want us to show you're human. You give us hope that we too can learn from our mistakes. 4) Own Your Channel: Rather than rely on other people's media, create your own. Start a podcast, a video blog, post regularly on Linkedin. 5) Own Your Map: don't compete with the other guys on their terms. Choose your category and define it. 6) Own Your Metrics: measure what matters - real conversations, meetings and connections - not “Likes" and "eyeballs". 7) Find Your Amplifiers: Who are the gatekeepers that hold the keys to the relationships that you want to develop? 8)Build Your Tribe: Stand for something. Find the believers who "get it”. Join the dots. Plant a flag, let people rally round. 9) Keep Telling Stories: There is no escape velocity in Leadership. 10) Pick Yourself: Leadership is not a job title. If you have our Attention, you are already a Leader.
